Dauren Bakytbekuly Zhakebayev worked as a senior lecturer from September 1, 2008, to August 31, 2010. From September 1, 2010, to August 31, 2021, he held the position of Acting Associate Professor. Since September 1, 2021, he has been working as a Professor at the Department of Computational Sciences and Statistics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. He is a resident of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2011, he served as the Deputy Head of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling for Scientific and Innovative Activities and International Relations. From 2012 to 2014, he was the Acting Head of the MCM Department. From 2014 to 2017, he served as the Head of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling. From 2017 to 2018, he was the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. From 2018 to 2022, he served as the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. From 2002 to 2004, Dauren Bakytbekuly Zhakebayev worked as a software engineer. From 2004 to 2005, he held the position of Junior Researcher. From 2005 to 2008, he was a Researcher. From 2008 to 2015, he worked as a Senior Researcher. From 2015 to 2021, he was a Leading Researcher at the Research Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Since 2021, he has been serving as the Chief Researcher at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. His scientific research focuses on turbulence theory, mathematical modeling, and high- performance computing, including: • Hydrodynamic processes; • Turbulent transport of impurities in a stratified medium; • The influence of viscosity changes on the pulsation structure of turbulent flow; • Modeling the dispersion of impurities in the wake of a rocket carrier in the free atmosphere; • Mathematical modeling of turbulent magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow; • Computational aspects of environmental issues at gas and oil fields; • Modeling pollution of the near-ground atmospheric layer; • Numerical modeling of spatial flow in cylindrical regions; • Modeling the degeneration of isotropic turbulence based on the filtered unsteady three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equation using the large eddy simulation method; • Research on mathematical and computer modeling of water quality in water pipelines.
